MANILA - Pop Star Princess Sarah Geronimo shared her excitement to be one of the judges of ABS-CBN's "The Voice Kids."

Geronimo, who also sat as a judge on "The Voice of the Philippines," said she never had second thoughts about accepting her new project because it meant working again with her idol, international singer Lea Salonga.

"Ang sabi ko lang basta nandoon si coach Lea... Kasi parang ang laki kasing inspiration sa akin ni coach Lea. Kapag nandoon si coach Lea, mas inspired ako na nandoon ako. Na naging bahagi ako ng 'The Voice' at siyempre nandoon si coach Bamboo," she said.

Joining Salonga and Geronimo on "The Voice Kids" is rock singer Bamboo, who was also a judge on "The Voice of the Philippines."

When asked to react to rumors of a rift between her and Salonga, Geronimo said: "Wala naman iyon, wala naman iyon."

"The Voice Kids" will premiere this May 24.
