MANILA - Actress-host Ruffa Gutierrez said it is an honor to be given the opportunity to work with Coco Martin and Sarah Geronimo in the film "Maybe This Time."

In a press conference on Thursday, Gutierrez referred to Martin and Geronimo as "two young superstars."

"Noong in-offer sa akin ito ng Star Cinema ay tuwang-tuwa ako dahil right after ng 'Girl, Boy, Bakla, 'Tomboy,' binigyan ako ulit ng isa pang pelikula," she said, referring to the Metro Manila Film Festival 2013 entry starring Vice Ganda.

"Noong sinabi sa akin na magshoo-shooting tayo in two weeks, [sabi ko], 'sino ang makakasama ko?' Si Sarah Geronimo and Coco Martin. [Sabi ko] 'Ay, nakaka-bagets, game.' Two young superstars ang kasama ko, sino ang tatanggi.

"For me, it's such an honor to be part of this film and napakahusay nilang pareho. Si Sarah, ang galing ng rapport nilang dalawa ni Coco," she said.

Gutierrez went on to talk about her character in "Maybe this Time."

"For me, my role in this film, talagang kakaiba. I play the role of Monica and Monica is a go-getter, she's an achiever who works in a PR firm.

"Sarah works under her so nagkataon lang na may past si Sarah at si Coco sa film. And si Coco naman nagtagpo kami talaga and boyfriend ko sa film," she stressed.

Aside from "Maybe This Time" which will hit theaters nationwide this May 28, Gutierrez is also promoting her family's reality series, "'It Takes Guts to be a Gutierrez" on E! channel.
