MANILA - Pop-rock singer Yeng Constantino considered hosting the newest season of the "The Voice Kids" as an answered prayer.

In an interview on Thursday, Constantino said it was a dream do come true for her to be part of a big project like "The Voice".

Pero siyempre, at the back of my mind, ng heart ko, na sana I will try something new sa darating na mga panahon in my career.

In the show, Constantino will team up with Luis Manzano and Robi Domingo.

Constantino said her main task is to make the kid contestants feel relaxed before they go on stage to perform.

For somebody who joined singing contests, Constantino said it would be easy for her to understand the young hopefuls.

"So basically, wala pong masyadong kailangang baguhin.

Constantino also admitted that she feels the pressure of replacing former "The Voice Kid" host Alex Gonzaga, who is now busy with her series, "Inday Bote."

Tapos na-encourage lang ako with people around me telling me, 'Alex 'yon eh, she will be Alex you will be Yeng kasi that's who you are,'" she said.
