The Star Cinema romance-drama, the FAP announced early this week, garnered 11 out of 12 possible nominations at the upcoming Luna Awards, including Best Picture and Best Direction for Olivia Lamasan.

"The Mistress" is competing in the Best Picture category with "Bwakaw," "El Presidente," "Sta. Nina," "Thy Womb," and two other ABS-CBN film productions "The Healing" and "One More Try."

"One More Try," which won Best Picture at the 2012 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), trailed "The Mistress" with eight nominations.

Another MMFF entry, "El Presidente," has seven nominations; followed by Cinemalaya entries "Bwakaw" and "Sta. Nina," with six each.

"The Healing," "Thy Womb" and "A Secret Affair" received four each; "A Mother's Story" and "Of All the Things," three each; "Tiktik: The Aswang Chronicles" and "Born to Love You," two each; and "Unofficially Yours" and "Every Breath U Take," one each.
