MANILA — Maymay Entrata is now 23 years old as she celebrates her birthday on Wednesday, May 6.
On Instagram, Entrata’s on-screen partner Edward Barber shared his message for the actress’s special day.
“Through all the chaos in the world, through all the joy and pain, all the storms brewing in our lives, you are a bright star of hope. I know things didn’t go how you planned this time. But I know that won’t stop you from smiling,” Barber wrote in the caption.
“Your heart is full of God's love, and He’s blessed you so you can be a blessing. And that’s what you are. God bless you always. Don’t forget that I have your back,,” he added.
On the night of her birthday, Entrata expressed her support to her mother network after the National Telecommunications Commission ordered ABS-CBN to stop broadcasting on television and radio, one day after the company’s 25-year operating franchise expired.
“Habang buhay na pasasalamat sa pamilyang naging tulay ng aking mga pangarap,” Entrata said.
The love team of Entrata and Barber started three years ago while housemates on the reality show “Pinoy Big Brother.”
Last month, the two young stars came out with a joint statement clarifying the status of their relationship, saying there’s no need for them to rush into a romantic relationship and that they will continue being best friends.
