MANILA -- "Since I Found You" star Arci Muñoz took to social media to respond to people calling her character on the primetime series "overacting" and "pabebe."
In the teleserye, Muñoz plays the role of Dani Cobarrubias, a college student and intern for the company owned by Nathan Capistrano, played by Piolo Pascual.
Although their first meeting was far from perfect, Nathan eventually fell for Dani's cute and quirky character.
To celebrate their "weeksary," Dani prepared a surprise for Nathan. However, he just laughed at what Dani prepared, noting there was nothing like that in his generation.
Upset at Nathan's reaction, Dani stormed out of his office and avoided him for a few days.
It was only when Nathan surprised Dani in an amusement park that she decided to forgive him.
Dani's reactions and seemingly childish ways did not sit well with some of the show's viewers, with some calling it "mababaw."
Replying to one of the tweets, which has been set to private, Muñoz said there is nothing wrong with acting cute and "mababaw" for one's boyfriend.
She also said those who don't like her acting are just jealous because they don't have a "Tito Nathan."
Muñoz, likewise, pointed out that one wouldn't be able to resist acting cute if their boyfriend is like Pacual.
