<p>The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) is now accepting entries to the Metro Manila Film Festival. </p><p>There are two ways for interested applicants to join this year's Full-Length Film category. One is by submitting a script, and another is by presenting a finished movie. </p><p>Four entries will be picked out from the script submissions, and another four from the finished films lot completing the eight official entries for the annual film festival. </p><p>This new rule is in pursuit of "both artistic excellence and audience appeal that can equate to more benefits to its target industry beneficiaries," the MMDA explained. </p><script src='https://connect.facebook.net/en_US/sdk.js#xfbml=1&version=v2.5' async type='text/javascript'></script><div class='fb-post' data-href='https://www.facebook.com/mmffofficial/photos/a.266350773469727.49364.222735584497913/1145846808853448/?type=3&theater' data-width='auto'> </div><p>The announcement of the selected entries is set on November 17. More details can be found on the official Facebook page of the Metro Manila Film Festival. </p><p>Meanwhile, entries to the Short Film category should be submitted by September 1. The announcement of the selected entries for this category will be on September 29. </p><p>Letters of intent by filmmakers and producers joining this year should be given on or before Wednesday. </p>
