MANILA -- "I only have one job here and that is to entertain all of you."
This is what British superstar Harry Styles told the crowd during his sold-out concert in Manila Tuesday night.
Judging by the shrieks and screams that filled the Mall of Asia Arena all throughout Styles' two-hour solo concert, he sure did more than entertain his fans.
This was not his first time in the Philippines, but it was his first time to hold a concert here to promote his solo album.
He drove the crowd wild when he first appeared on stage, performing "Only Angel," followed by other hits from his self-titled album.
Styles also tugged at his Filipino fans' heartstrings, sending them into a rollercoaster of emotions as he greeted them with a perfect "Magandang gabi, Pilipinas!"
At one point, Styles led the crowd in singing the birthday song for a fan's dad, after reading a sign about it.
A member of popular boy group One Direction, Styles made up for the absence of his fellow One Direction members -- who were with him when he first performed in Manila in 2015 -- with his boundless energy and flair for showmanship.
Even without his fellow 1D members, Styles didn't forget about them, as he performed the group's hit song "What Makes You Beautiful" towards the end of his set.
All eyes have been on Styles (and the rest of One Direction) as the members embarked on solo careers, considering the group's hiatus was followed by the breakup of another internationally renowned reality show supergroup, Fifth Harmony.
Next month, it will be Niall Horan's turn to bring his own brand of music to Manila as he returns for his first own solo concert in the country.
