Oh, now it all makes sense. Last Saturday, singer Moira dela Torre piqued the curiosity of her fans when she released a clip of her friends in shock over her new music video for "Tagpuan."
At the time, everyone, except those in it, had no clue as to what Dela Torre had prepared. It's been two days since she uploaded it online, and we all know now why Julia Barretto was in tears, or why Vice Ganda appeared genuinely confused.
It was through the sweet music video that Dela Torre announced her engagement. The deeply personal clip recounted her painful childhood memories first before ending with her boyfriend asking for her hand in marriage.
On Instagram, Dela Torre said that it was the "easiest" question she has ever been asked in her entire life.
The video was directed by John Prats, who shared that he feels lucky to have been given the chance to capture Dela Torre and her boyfriend's precious moment. "Salamat sa tiwala ninyo," he said.
Prats added that he's looking forward to pursuing his passion for directing after the positive feedback. "Gusto ko maghatid ng experience para sa lahat ng manonood. Maka-inspire ng mas marami."
Sam Milby also had a hand in the music video, which has more than 1.5 million views on YouTube alone after just two days. He was credited as the editor.
"God has shown his faithfulness through this couple and I'm so happy to have witnessed their love story," Milby said of Dela Torre and her fiance.
