MANILA - It was an emotionally moving performance that merited another golden buzzer.
El Gamma Penumbra was once again hailed as a golden act when it took the stage Thursday in the semifinals of "Asia's Got Talent."
A video of the Filipinos' performance was uploaded on YouTube Friday by producer AXN Asia.
The golden buzzer pressed by the four judges secured the shadow play group a spot in the grand finals, wherein the group will join fellow Philippine acts Gerphil Flores and Gwyneth Dorado, who are both singers, and dance group Junior New System.
Indonesian judge Anggun, who made El Gamma Penumbra an automatic semifinalist when she pressed her golden buzzer, was once again moved to tears by the unique act.
"I'm sorry," she said. "I'm just extremely moved by what I just saw. It was really emotional. You made me really proud tonight. I'm sure you made Filipinos proud tonight. Thank you. That was flawless."
Along with other top Asian acts, El Gamma Penumbra will take the stage at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore for on May 7 and 14 for the grand finals of "Asia's Got Talent."
