MANILA — South Korean girl group GFriend is set to return to the country on August 25 for a concert at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City.
The show, part of the group's "Go Go GFriend" Asia tour, was made possible by MyMusicTaste, a crowd-sourcing platform for music and live events.
Tickets will go on sale on May 8. Ticketing details can be found on MyMusicTaste's website.
GFriend will kick off the tour in May with a two-day concert in Seoul. They will also visit Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand.
The six-member group last visited Manila in August 2018 for their first solo concert here.
Composed of Sowon, Yerin, Eunha, Yuju, SinB and Umji, GFriend debuted in 2015 with the song "Glass Bead."
They rose to fame after a video of the members slipping multiple times while performing their song, "Me Gustas Tu," went viral.
