MANILA -- The most anticipated movie in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe continued to smash Philippine box office over the weekend.
Following its jaw-dropping opening day record, “Avengers: Endgame” posted a total of P937,521,966 in the next four days, posting the biggest Thursday, Friday and opening weekend of all time.
It broke the record of “Avengers: Infinity War” which had a five-day opening weekend gross of P650.1 million.
Globally, the fourth Avengers movie has already earned $1.2 billion within the span of five days.
The three-hour movie concludes the storyline that saw Thanos turn half of the living creatures across the universe, including some of the Earth's mightiest heroes, to dust. It is a culmination of 21 films spanning 11 years.
