An exhausted and emotional Sarah Geronimo could not finish performing her anthem "Forever's Not Enough" and at one point had to walk out from the stage to compose herself during the Las Vegas stop of her concert tour over the weekend.

The raw moment was captured by audience members, who uploaded on YouTube clips of the tearful superstar, as she poured her heart out about feeling empty despite her successful 15-year career, and as she struggled through her performance.

Geronimo, 29, was recalling a time when she watched videos of her music idol, the late Michael Jackson, where the "King of Pop" is surrounded by screaming and crying fans eager to get a glimpse or a touch of him.

"Grabe po. I realized, na hindi po pala ako handa doon," she said, her voice shaking.

Considered the foremost pop performer in the Philippines, Geronimo rose to stardom in 2003 when she won the talent search "Star for a Night," and has since become a multi-hyphenate with sold-out concerts and albums, dozens of brand endorsements, TV shows and box-office hits.

Speaking to her Las Vegas audience, Geronimo said: "Ginusto ko pong maibahagi ang talento ko pero, hindi pala ako handa sa mga kasama doon sa hiningi ko, lalong-lalo na 'yung pressure to always do good, maging role model ka, maging perpekto ka. Mahirap po."

At this point unable to hold her tears, Geronimo apologized to the audience.

"I'm so sorry. I hope na kayanin ko po, i-survive ko 'tong gabing ito, because you paid. Gumastos po kayo para mabigyan kayo ng entertainment. I'm sorry," she said.

After her April 14 anniversary concert and amid the ongoing production of her upcoming "Miss Granny" film, Geronimo has been on a packed tour in the United States since April 21, with four stops so far including this latest one in Las Vegas. She's still set to take her "THIS 15 ME" tour to Chicago and New York.

"I have been asking myself, 'Bakit I feel empty?'" the singer revealed. "Hindi 'yung successful na shows o 'yung mga hits ang makakapag-kumpleto sa 'yo, ang makakapagpasaya sa 'yo bilang isang tao, kundi 'yung tunay na pagmamahal na hindi nagbabago, perpekto ka man o hindi."

The third of four siblings, Geronimo's family, specifically her parents Delfin and Divine, have been visible figures throughout her career. She is known to be in a four-year relationship with actor Matteo Guidicelli.

Apparently referring to her profession, Geronimo said: "Unti-unti po, hinahanap ko kung ano ba talaga 'yung gagawin ko para I will feel fulfilled. Until now, pumapasok pa rin siya sa isip ko. But then, may nagsabi sa akin na, 'Sarah, huwag ka na maghanap, kasi iyan 'yung binigay na talento ng Diyos para sa 'yo, so use that as a platform to honor His name, to glorify His name, and to become an inspiration to other people.'"

This isn't the first time Geronimo mentioned re-considering her career. In 2013, she admitted having a "quarterlife crisis," saying she had been thinking whether to still continue being a performer.

"Kayo po na patuloy na naniniwala -- 15 years. Maraming, maraming salamat po. Forever po akong magiging thankful sa inyo. Pasensya na po," she told her audience in Las Vegas, and proceeded to sing "Forever's Not Enough" -- at least a part of it.

Apparently still trying to contain her emotions, Geronimo skipped lyrics several times as she turned her back from the audience. Towards the end, however, the pop star could no longer go on and walked out of the stage, presumably to recover.
