They've teased fans with a photo showing them in a near-kiss pose.
Sorry shippers, but there's very little chance that JM de Guzman and Angelica Panganiban will be taking their friendship up another level.
De Guzman made that clear in his interview on "Tonight With Boy Abunda" Friday, saying that he does not have plans to court his "That Thing Called Tadhana" co-star.
"Mag-tropa po kami ni Angelica. Kulitan lang po namin iyong mga ganyan," he explained.
He added that their group of friends is tight, sharing how they have been helping him get back on his feet after he checked himself into a rehab facility for his past drug use.
"Iyong mga mali ko talaga dati, sinasampal nila sa mukha ko. I'm really thankful for that," he said.
De Guzman was on the late-night talk show to promote the upcoming premiere of "Precious Hearts Romances: Araw Gabi" on Monday.
