MANILA, Philippines – Megastar Sharon Cuneta has broken her silence on her reported walkout.
The megastar reportedly left her self-titled television program in the middle of the taping because of a production number. She was reportedly crying when she hurriedly left ABS-CBN.
In her interview with ABS-CBN News, Cuneta said she left because "something happened unexpectedly."
"I wasn't feeling well. Something happened na hindi inaasahan... low batt ako, off na off ako that day. And I just felt na hindi ko mabibigay ang 100% ko sa audience kung pipilitin ko that day. I'd rather not do it kung half baked, di ba? And I don't like to be flastic. (Laughs). I'm not," she said.
Meanwhile, Cuneta has several reasons to smile about these days.
Aside from her adopted baby boy, KC Concepcion,Cuneta's eldest daughter, is also getting positive feedbacks as new host of "The Buzz." KC replaced Ruffa Gutierrez after the latter left the celebrity show for another television network.
Cuneta and her second husband, Sen. Francis Pangilinan, are also set to celebrate their 14th wedding anniversary. She joked that after 14 years nobody could still prove the allegations that Pangilinan has children with other woman.
"Blessed marriage kasi hindi naman tatagal ng ganoon kung walang guidance at proteksyon ng Panginoon, di ba? Sa dami ng paninira... ang dami na niyang anak wala pa akong nakikita (laughs)," she said.
It would be recalled that the megastar even offered a reward to anyone who could prove Pangilinan’s alleged infidelity.
Cuneta is set to do her first horror film under Star Cinema in June. She will also be paired with Robin Padilla and Batangas Gov. Vilma Santos in 2 separate movies this year. –Report from Mario Dumaual, ABS-CBN News
