MANILA –- Veteran singer-actress Sharon Cuneta was given the Dolphy Lifetime Achievement Award at the 6th Golden Screen Awards held at the RCBC Plaza in Makati on Sunday night.

“Para sa akin, it’s a gift from the people who followed your career, enjoyed your work, respected your work and appreciated you. It’s a very, very special award,” Cuneta said.

Various Kapamilya shows and stars also bagged several awards at the television awards, including “Salamat Dok,” which was named Best Public Service Program, and “Matanglawin” and its host Kim Atienza as Best Public Serivce Program and Host.

Host-actress Kris Aquino and her morning program “Kris TV” also won Best Lifestyle Show and Host.

The Sunday variety program “ASAP,” meanwhile, brought home the Best Musical Show Award.

Vice Ganda and his show “Gandang Gabi Vice” were recognized as Best Celebrity Talk Show and Host.
