MANILA – The release of the movie “Just the 3 of Us” starring John Lloyd Cruz and Jennylyn Mercado has been moved to a later date.
According to Star Cinema, the movie will have its debut in Philippine theaters on May 4 instead of April 27.
This will coincide with the release of “This Time”, the fifth big screen team-up of real life couple James Reid and Nadine Lustre.
The latest teaser trailer of “Just the 3 of Us” introduced the film's central plot: CJ (Mercado) tries to convince Uno (Cruz) that he is the father of her unborn child.
The two strike a deal and Uno has six months to prove otherwise while he lives under the same roof as CJ.
Directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, “Just the 3 of Us” will also have simultaneous international screenings in the Middle East, Papua New Guinea, United States, Canada, Saipan, Europe, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore.
Aside from Cruz and Mercado, the film also features Joel Torre, Maria Isabel Lopez, Ketchup Eusebio, Joem Bascon, Yana Asistio, Victor Silayan and Fifth Solomon.
Manuel Chua, PJ Endrinal, Michael Agassi, Josef Elizalde, Jed Montero and Lucas Magallang as well as newcomers Paulo Angeles and Chuchay Jung complete the cast.
