MANILA -- Singer-songwriter Ogie Alcasid defended his wife Regine Velasquez, who was lambasted recently by radio host Ben Tulfo.
In a Facebook live session last Sunday, Tulfo criticized Velasquez for her comments about Department of Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr.'s remark on clams amid reports of mass harvesting by Chinese vessels near Scarborough Shoal.
"Ang mensahe ko sa ‘yo, Regine Velasquez, next time you open your mouth, think. Make sure na may laman ang utak mo," Tulfo said.
On Wednesday, Alcasid addressed Tulfo in a tweet.
Tulfo also replied to Alcasid's message.
Alcasid then ended their Twitter conversation with this tweet.
