'Koolchx' member admits romance with Rafael Rosell

Singer and dancer Malaya Lewandowski has confirmed her two and half year romantic relationship with award-winning actor Rafael Rosell.
Star Magic talent Lewandowski, who just turned 20 last April 13, shared details of her lovelife with the members of entertainment press during the press conference for Star Magic's April Birthday Celebrators held at 9501 Restaurant, ELJ Tower Center inside the network's compound.
She shared that open communication and understanding regarding each other's jobs are the secrets to keeping their relationship strong.
"I think what makes us strong is the fact that we are a showbizness couple and there's a lot of things that you have to go through...little problems we work through them and it keeps us together and all the things that we go through just makes us come together, " Lewandowski told abs-cbnNEWS.com.
Lewandowski said she first met Rosell during the taping of ABS-CBN's defunct show "Bora." At the time, Rosell guested on the show but didn't talk to her. They met again at Sharon's Christmas special, struck up a conversation and the rest, as they say, is history.
Lewandowski and Rossell celebrated their second year anniversary last January 9.
And when asked if she and her sweetheart have already plans to get married, Lewandowski said: "You know we just haven't talk about getting married because you know with guys sometimes when you talk about marriage they get like ...oh...oh.. wait. So, what we have right now it's good--I dont wanna ruin anything. If we get married great, if we don't, [it's still] great as long as I know that we are together and everything is okay. I'm okay with that. I mean, no rush to get married."
Not Gabby's daughter
Recently, Lewandowski was rumored to be a daughter of comebacking actor Gabby Concepcion.
Lewandowski denied the reports, saying that she knew the actor since Concepcion is a family friend. She said that she refuses to talk about the controversies since she doesn't want the people to think that she's just using Concepcion to become popular.
"I knew him in the States and when I joined showbiz and the fact that my age is very close with KC, yan I understand why people would start saying that I'm his daughter but I'm not," Lewandowski said.
She admitted that when the reports came out she was really bothered--but then she realized that she couldn't stop people from thinking what they want to think.
"No matter how say no, there some gonna be there thinking that I am and when it comes to my career...if I were to make it, it's because I have some kind of talent not because I'm associated with someone," Lewandowski said.
Lewandowski said that she hasn't seen Concepcion since the actor arrived from the US.
Lewandowski, who has been in various beauty pageants in the United States, is now busy guesting on ABS-CBN's "Wowowee," ASAP '08 and doing out of town shows.
She is also the MYX VJ for North America and member of all female group called "Koolchx."
