SNEAK PEEK: Smokey Mountain in virtual reunion for 'Bayanihan' fundraiser

MANILA — Smokey Mountain, the iconic youth music group formed by National Artist for Music Ryan Cayabyab, has reunited — virtually — for a fundraiser for vulnerable communities amid the coronavirus crisis.
The reunion is part of a special edition of "Bayanihan, Musikahan," a donation platform featuring dozens of artists in concert from their home.
Cayabyab gathered his former wards for the upcoming May 3 episode of the program, in partnership with ABS-CBN.
"We all come together, as we are part of the taumbayan to the rescue! Tayong lahat yun!" Cayabyab wrote in a Facebook post that also shows the Ryan Cayabyab Singers.

Performers will also include Lea Salonga, Gary Valenciano, and Martin Nievera, who have each held their solo "Bayanihan" episodes in the past weeks.
As of April 23, the project has raised over P62 million since it was launched on March 18.
