'Abangan ang Susunod na Kabanata' pioneer now 41

Andres Jose Yllana Jr., popularly known as Anjo Yllana, an actor, comedian and noontime television show host. 

Yllana, the elder brother of actor Jomari Yllana, gained popularity for playing the role of a deranged son of a politician on hit show “Abangan ang Susunod na Kabanata.” He was also part of “Palibhasa Lalake.”

He temporarily left show business and tried his luck in the world of politics. He won as councilor of Parañaque City in and was elected vice mayor in 2005.

Among his many films are “Once Upon A Time,” “Kapag Napagod Ang Puso,” “Rosenda,” and “Regal Shockers The Movie.”

The now 41-year-old comedian is one of the hosts of the long-running noontime show “Eat Bulaga!”
