ABS-CBN host Bianca Gonzales finally found time to bond with her idol, "Boys Over Flower" star Kim Bum, after flying to South Korea last week.
In an interview via phone patch with "SNN: Showbiz News Ngayon," Gonzales shared some details of her precious moments with the Korean star.
"Pumunta kami ng CBS office para kunwari daw may briefing kung ano daw ang gagawin doon sa unang araw... with Kim Bum. Kinunan kami ng picture. Smile kami. Bigla noong binaba ng cameraman sa gitna yong camera niya. Si Kim Bum na pala. Doon namin siya first nakita (We went to the CBS office for a briefing on what we were supposed to do on the first day with Kim Bum. Someone took our pictures. When the cameraman put down his camera, there was Kim Bum. That was the first time we saw him)," Gonzales said.
Gonzales, who was with four other girls, said after their meeting, they rode a bus and went to a sheep ranch that was four hours away from Seoul.
"Nagpunta kami sa isang sheep ranch. Nagpakain kami ng sheep at si Kim Bum yong naghandout ng pagkain ng sheep (We went to a sheep ranch. Kim Bum helped us feed the sheep)," the host said.
She also shared how well the Korean star could fly a kite and how Kim Bum cooked their meal.
"Ang ending ang niluto niya ay mala-fried rice pero ang tawag niya ay home rice (He cooked fried rice which he called home rice)," she said. "It was a fun first date and it was also nice to see the other side of Kim Bum."
Gonzales added that Kim Bum was grateful for his Filipino fans for their undying love for Korea's "F4."
