Apl.de.ap of the Black Eyed Peas joined Filipino boxing champ Manny Pacquiao in his training on Wednesday morning at the Pan Pacific Park in Los Angeles, California.
The Filipino-American rapper shared on in his Facebook page several pictures of them working out.
In the caption, apl.de.ap said he had a great time working out with Pacquiao, who will be facing Floyd Mayweather Jr. in the ring in less than two weeks.
In an interview with the Philippine Daily Inquirer, the Black Eyed Peas member reported that Pacquiao is “really in good shape, good spirits and all our kababayan is in support of him.”
Apl.de.ap is also optimistic that Pacquiao will beat Mayweather on May 2.
“I think Manny is the only one that can get to Mayweather [with] lateral movement, bunches of punches; one of them is going to get in there,” he said.
The “The Voice of the Philippines” coach said he will definitely be in Las Vegas on May 2 “with our without ticket to support Pacquiao.”
