MANILA - American talk show host Ellen DeGeneres has invited 6-year-old Filipino John Phillip Bughaw to guest on her program, it was revealed Wednesday.

Bughaw, whose video of him dancing to "Bang Bang" went viral last November, is scheduled to fly to Los Angeles on May 11 to appear in an episode of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," according to "It's Showtime."

The news was revealed when the Cavite-born kid was introduced as one of the contestants of "Mini Me"--the noontime program's segment dedicated to children with celebrity look-alikes.

Currently, Bughaw's video has more than 11 million views on Facebook.

Should Bughaw's guesting on "Ellen" push through, it will not be the first time Fiilpino talents have been featured on the internationally aired program.

He will join the likes of General Santos-based music duo Aldrich Talonding and James Bucong, dancers AC Bonifacio and Lucky Ancheta, singers Rhap Salazar, Zendee Tenerefe, and international recording artist Charice Pempengco.
