MANILA, Philippines – Feisty talent manager Annabelle Rama has reignited her word war with actress Amalia Fuentes after the two had a run-in at former President Joseph Estrada’s 75th birthday party on Thursday.
In her official Twitter account, Rama said she attended Estrada’s party with husband Eddie Gutierrez when she ran into Fuentes.
"Sa daming guest ni Pres Erap sa bday party niya last night, isang demonyita pa ang nakita ko," she said in her tweet.
Rama admitted that she and Fuentes exchanged harsh words last night.
"Sabi niya 'Favorite mo pala ang color orange.' This time tama siya! Orange ang suot ko last night!" she tweeted.
Rama declined to say what else they talked about. She said her enemies are only brave when they are not facing her.
Sen. Jinggoy Estrada confirmed that Fuentes and Rama had a run-in during his father's birthday party. He said the feud ended after Fuentes left.
The word war between Fuentes and Rama started after the talent manager took to Twitter to vent her anger over an incident involving the actress and her friend, Miss Universe 1969 Gloria Diaz.
Rama said Fuentes, a former girlfriend of her husband, badmouthed her.
This was followed a few days later by a confrontation at the wake of Joey Stevens, Fuentes’s ex-husband, in Makati.
Fuentes said Rama came to the wake wearing red which, she said, is a sign of disrespect to the deceased.
The actress said she asked Rama to leave her ex-husband’s wake, but the talent manager refused.
