MANILA, Philippines – Fresh from her Canadian vacation, Precious Lara Quigaman has faced some members of the media to dispel rumors that she and her boyfriend, actor-model Marco Alcaraz, got married abroad.

Tsaka hindi pa rin kami ready ni Marco dahil marami pa kaming ibang commitments at priorities,” Quigaman said in an interview during her pictorial for her upcoming television series “Impostor.”

Quigaman clarified that she and Alcaraz went to Canada to see her family and not to tie the knot.

The beauty queen-actress also shared that her family and Alcaraz are getting along very well.

“Na-meet na sila ni Marco before. Sobrang gusto siya ng family ko. Napansin nilang madali siyang pakisamahan at makisama rin. Sa akin sobra niyang pasensyoso, maintindihin. Sobrang sweet, makulit. Enjoy kami magkasama,” she said.

Another rumor plaguing Quigaman is one claiming that Alcaraz’s manager, Arnold Vegafria, disapproves of their relationship. This purportedly led to a dispute between Alcaraz and Vegafria.

“I don’t think that’s the reason…. I don’t know him (Vegafria) personally. There was no chance na makilala ko siya,” she said.

Rumor also has it that Alcaraz’s relationship with his manager has gone “beyond professional.”

For Quigaman, however, there’s no reason for her to be bothered by these persistent rumors.

“Ang alam ko wala talaga. I know Marco and kung ano ‘yong totoo.

Quigaman takes on a contrabida role in “Impostor,” which top-bills Sam Milby and Maja Salvador. -Report by Napoleon Quintos, ABS-CBN.com
