Eric Tai makes American TV debut in 'Almost Paradise'

MANILA – (UPDATE) Eric “Eruption” Tai has made his American television debut in “Almost Paradise” and he took to social media to share to his followers how he feels about it.

On Instagram on Tuesday, Tai said he is so humbled and thankful for the rare opportunity to work with a production team spearheaded by Filipino-American Dean Devlin.

“Here we go! ALMOST PARADISE NA! And yes, hard work always pays off,” he said.

Starring American actor Christian Kane and Filipino actress Samantha Richelle, “Almost Paradise” follows the story of Alex Walker, a former Drug Enforcement Administration agent running a gift shop in the Philippines after he was forced into early retirement.

Although he wanted to live a peaceful life, Walker clashes with criminals putting his life at risk.

“Almost Paradise” also stars Zsa Zsa Padilla, Arthur Acuña, Ces Quesada, Angeli Bayani, and Nonie Buencamino.

Co-produced by ABS-CBN and Electric Entertainment, “Almost Paradise” airs on WGN America. It has yet to be announced when it will be available in the Philippines.
