MANILA, Philippines - International singer Charice has been featured again in New York Post, this time for her first international music video "Pyramid."
The "Pyramid" video, which was launched in Oprah Winfrey's site (www.oprah.com) on Monday, was cited in the April 13 Post article "PopWrap's Most Awkward Threesome Ever: Charice, Drake and John Mayer Music Vids." (https://www.nypost.com/p/blogs/popwrap/charice_drake_john_mayer_music_vids_sGXx6C7vjAOGicn5cqoJhM)
"Now 'Pyramid' is a true pop video my friends, brought to us by our new fave pop princess Charice. It's her first, and premiered on Oprah's Web site last night ... which is all you really need to know. A dash of high-school scenes (life is hard), a moment alone on a stage (who am I?) and some smoke and lights (oh, that's who I am!), viola, insta-freshman perfection," the article said.
In an e-mail sent to abs-cbnNEWS.com, Charice said she considers the New York Post article as "another (big) news".
The "Pyramid" video, which was uploaded on YouTube almost a month ago, has been viewed over two million times.
Currently, Charice is in the United States to work on her first international album "Charice: A Star Is Born." The album will be launched on May 11, or a day after her 18th birthday.
Reports said she might launch her album on “The Oprah Winfrey Show.”
