Netflix has expanded into the Korean drama scene with its partnership with JTBC, a South Korean broadcasting company, to simulcast the network's new television series, "Man x Man."
Aside from being a Netflix original series, "Man x Man" is also Netflix's first simulcast of a Korean drama.
"Man x Man" will stream globally, except for South Korea and the US, on Netflix the same time it premieres on JTBC.
In Korea, the series will be live on Netflix an hour after airing on JTBC, while it will be aired in two parts, comprising eight episodes each, in the US.
Directed by Chang-min Lee, "Man x Man" tells the story of Kim Seol Woo who becomes a ghost bodyguard for a top hallyu star, the secret "men" who surround him and their mysterious exploits.
"My Love from the Star" actor Park Hae Jin plays the role of Kim Seol Woo.
"Man x Man" will premiere exclusively on Netflix on April 21.
