It looks like Thanos is at it again.
Though instead of targeting only half of their competition on the day "Avengers: Endgame" drops in cinemas, the Mad Titan is about to make all of them disappear --at least in SM Cinemas nationwide.
According to SM, literally all schedules of the 333 movie screens they own across the country will be showing the much-anticipated Marvel Studios blockbuster, completely ignoring Thanos' wish for all things to be perfectly balanced, from April 24 to 28.
That's four days of just "Avengers: Endgame" and nothing else --so those who are looking to see other films may need to visit other malls, or seek out those small movie houses around the metro.
This promo is just one of the example of how the malls are capitalizing on the fever-high anticipation for the sequel to "Infinity War."
SM, as well as other malls, have started selling tickets for screenings as early as 6 a.m. on April 24, which is two days before the movie even makes its debut in US cinemas.
It remains unclear how well "Avengers: Endgame" has been doing when it comes to advance tickets locally, but it broke sales records in the US around a week ago.
"Avengers: Infinity War," its prequel that was released last year, is the highest grossing movie in Philippine box-office history.
"Avengers: Endgame" will conclude the storyline that saw Thanos turn half of the living creatures across the universe, including some of the Earth's Mightiest Heroes, to dust.
