MANILA, Philippines – Batangas Governor and award-winning actress Vilma Santos has denied that his youngest son Christian Recto will venture into show business.

Recto was on “ASAP 2012” recently for a dance number.
Santos said she is allowing her son to guest on TV shows since he is on a summer break.
“Mana siya sa akin. But he's only third year high school. Payag lang dahil bakasyon and he's an honor student. Sa akin nga nagmana,” she said in jest.
Santos is well known for doing elaborate opening numbers for her musical variety show, "VIP," in the '80s.
Meanwhile, Santos revealed that she is set to appear on the ABS-CBN game show “Deal or No Deal,” which is hosted by her eldest son Luis Manzano.
This is part of Manzano’s special birthday edition.
“I love you Lucky... proud of you, you're doing good, pinaghirapan niya 'yan. Gawin mo ring lucky ang maleta ni mommy ha,” Santos said.
She also has something to say about Manzano’s blossoming relationship with actress Jennylyn Mercado.
“Salamat Jen sa pagmamahal mo sa anak ko. Ikaw naman Lucky, alagaan mo siya ng mabuti,” she said. – from a report by Mario Dumaual, ABS-CBN News
