Kylie Padilla is counting down the days until she becomes a mother.
On Friday, the pregnant actress took to Instagram to share a sonogram of her baby boy along with what appears to be a heartfelt original poem that hinted at a few unpleasant childhood memories for her.
Padilla's poem started off optimistic enough, with her saying her unborn child reminded her of "life's beauty."
It took an unexpected turn, however, when she wrote: "Never be alone, like the childhood I have known."
But regardless of whether she was actually referring to her own experience, Padilla ended her message for her baby on a touching note: "I'll let you teach me that love is no charity, it is just you and me."
Padilla is the daughter of action star Robin Padilla and Liezl Sicangco, who are separated.
She first confirmed her pregnancy last January, days after she revealed her engagement to actor Aljur Abrenica.
Padilla's post came days after she shared photos from her magazine shoot with her fiance. In one, where she and Abrenica were seen holding their pet dog, she wrote "family" in the caption.
Abernica and Padilla first became a couple in 2011. They then had a much-publicized breakup in 2014, but got back together last year.
In an interview, Abrenica shared that he is ecstatic about being a father, saying: "Nakakatuwa kasi masaya, kasi blessing 'yun, eh. Sino ba naman ang hindi sasaya na nagkaroon ka ng anak, bilang isang lalaki, sa babaeng mahal na mahal mo?"
