MANILA – Although she was initially hesitant about holding her first major solo concert at the Araneta Coliseum, Alex Gonzaga now believes she deserves to have a show at the Big Dome.
During her interview on “The Buzz” on Sunday, Gonzaga said she is confident that the Lord will guide her through this as she vowed to do her best for those who will watch her concert.
“Feeling ko lahat tayo deserving magkaroon ng opportunity na matupad 'yung pangarap nila. Wala namang impossible kay Lord,” she said.
Addressing her sister Toni directly, Gonzaga said: “Kung nagawa niya sa 'yo 'yun, magagawa niya din sa akin 'yun. Lahat tayo favored so everyone deserves to have a chance. Everything is possible.”
When asked by co-host Kris Aquino if she is worried because she only has a short time to prepare for the concert, Gonzaga said: “Tuwing nagpe-pray ako, parang parating may nagpapa-calm sa akin na ‘Don’t worry. Don’t think about it. It’s my job. Do your thing.’”
Gonzaga’s show, "AG From the East: The Unexpected Concert," will take place on April 25.
Prior to that, she will fly to Australia for a series of shows.
