MANILA -- Filming for the comedy film starring Eugene Domingo, Enchong Dee and Jake Cuenca has begun, with a social media campaign kicking off to promote the Kapamilya flick's unique premise.

The team behind "Tuhog" has tapped its official page on social networking site Facebook to chronicle behind-the-scenes photos of the filming of the Star Cinema and Skylight Films offering.
Several photos show the cast, which also includes Empress Schuck and Rodjun Cruz, hard at work on their respective scenes in the film.
The "Tuhog" Facebook page is also littered with text images showing facts and trivia about death.
Among them: "Mahigit 200 na Pilipino ang namamatay kada araw dahil sa paninigarilyo. Hawak ba nila ang kanilang buhay o nasa tadhana?"
Another said: "150,000 na tao ang namamatay araw-araw.
This is in line with the theme explored by the film, which was detailed by Domingo in an earlier interview.
Lahat ng tao, kahit anong edad, lahat kayo matatamaan, lahat kayo matutuhog," she said.
According to the award-winning comedienne, "Tuhog" is written by Ronnie Velasco and Jinky Laurel, whose previous big screen project, "Last Supper No. 3," won Best Film at the 2009 Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival.
"Tuhog" is expected to hit theaters later this year.
