MANILA – Bea Alonzo took to social media to thank her boyfriend, actor Gerald Anderson, for supporting her latest movie “Eerie.”
Posting a photo of them in an undisclosed theater, Alonzo said: “Nagpa-block screening si Mayor!! Thanks for the support Mr. Anderson!”
The post earned heart emojis from the couple’s good friends including brothers Rayver and Rodjun Cruz.
In the film, which also stars Charo Santos-Concio, Alonzo plays the role of a clairvoyant counselor investigating a student’s death.
The student, at least based on the trailer, appears to have taken her own life, with her ghost lingering in the halls of the school.
Directed by “Birdshot” director Mikhail Red, the horror-thriller has made over P75 million in seven days.
Also starring Jake Cuenca and Maxene Magalona, “Eerie” made its world premiere in December 2018 at the Singapore International Film Festival.
