MANILA - Fans flocked to theaters across the country to catch the first screenings of "You're My Boss," the summer romance offering of ABS-CBN's movie outfit, Star Cinema.
The film, which marks the first big screen team-up of actress Toni Gonzaga and Coco Martin, follows the love story of a conceited boss and her assistant who end up switching roles.
It is directed by Antoinette Jadaone, who is best known for the blockbuster hit "That Thing Called Tadhana" and "Beauty in a Bottle".
To coincide with the movie's opening, Star Cinema released on Saturday a short clip featuring new footage from the film.
It sees Martin's character trying to learn how to correctly pronounce English words such as helicopter and global.
Meanwhile, Star Cinema's advertising and promotions manager, Mico Del Rosario, also shared photos on his Instagram account of the hundreds of fans who lined up to see the film on Black Saturday.
"You're My Boss" is currently showing in 170 cinemas nationwide.
