Vilma to Dolphy: Think positive 1
Batangas Governor Vilma Santos

MANILA, Philippines - Batangas Governor Vilma Santos advised King of Comedy Dolphy to think positive.

In an interview, Santos said she's happy that the veteran actor is doing better.

"Tito Dolphs, I'm praying for you. It's good to hear that you are healthy and doing good. Think positive," she said

"Nagkausap po kami ng inyong anak na si Eric Quizon, binanggit sa akin ang status niyo and since then I'm truly truly praying for you, Tito Dolphs. Ikaw pa Tito Dolphs kayang kaya mo 'yan ...I love you Tito Dolphs," Santos said.

Dolphy came out with a video message that was aired last Monday on "TV Patrol." Dolphy said he is currently doing better and asked his fans not to worry.

Huwag kayong mag-alala. I'm OK, I love you all," he added. --

According to family spokesman Nene Riego, Dolphy is suffering from emphysema, a pulmonary disease that has weakened his immune system.

Dolphy will turn 84 in July. -- With report from Mario Dumaual, ABS-CBN News
