MANILA – Television host Mariel Rodriguez finally decided to seek the help of medical experts after suffering a miscarriage early this month.
This after her husband, actor Robin Padilla, earlier said through a statement that Rodriguez would rather wait to naturally bleed than go to a clinic.
On Instagram on Tuesday, Padilla posted pictures showing him and Rodriguez at the Asian Hospital and Medical Center.
In the caption, Padilla said: “Glory be to God!! Praise be to God!! God is great!! It’s done (Mariel). Maraming salamat sa mga doktor at nurse ng Genesis Unit/Asian Hospital. Very professional and very polite team. Pagpupugay din sa pag-aalaga ng admitting personnel at nurse station ng 5th floor lalo sa housekeeping at catering... Billing na lang ang suspense.”
In his next post, Padilla lauded his wife, his mother and his daughters, saying all women deserve a salute because of the hardships that they have to endure in life.
“I saw a lot of blood in my life but this was the most educating, ang tindi talaga ng sakit na dinadaanan ng mga babae, with or without pregnancy, they go through hell and heaven.”
“There is no greater love than a mothers love. I love you @marieltpadilla @evacarinopadilla my deepest respect to my children @camiiibella @queeniepadillarevert @kylienicolepadilla @zherileen @alipadilla14 on how they love their mothers. Happy Mothers and Women's day to all kahit lagpas na o wala pa,” he said.
Rodriguez was eight weeks and three days pregnant when the baby stopped developing. She would have given birth some time in October 2015.
