MANILA – “He’s here in my heart.”

This was how Liza Soberano answered Matteo Guidicelli and Kean Cipriano when the two asked her of Enrique Gil’s whereabouts during the Luzon-wide lockdown.

The three had a “Dolce Amore” mini-reunion on Sunday night as Soberano was one of the stars lined up for “One Voice Pilipinas” hosted by Guidicelli and Cipriano.

Since most of the guests before Soberano talked about love, Guidicelli asked the actress if she could share an advice to everyone listening on how to keep a relationship strong.

Giving a brief but on point answer, Soberano said: “My answer would just be mutual respect and trust.”

Guidicelli then teased Soberano if she misses Gil, who turns 28 on Monday, March 30.

“He’s at home. Yes, [I miss him],” she said. “I actually don’t know [how we will celebrate his birthday]. Maybe just video chat party.”

The three then recalled their happy days while filming “Dolce Amore” in 2015, before Soberano shared what she’s been up to during the enhanced community quarantine.

“We are just at home playing lots of board games, spending time with family. We’ve been working out. I’ve been cleaning, just everyday stuff that I don’t normally get to do because I’m busy at work. But aside from that, madalas din ako nasa phone talaga because nakikibalita ako sa news,” the actress said.

Soberano also gave a heartfelt message for all the frontliners who are working continuously for the nation despite the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I want to thank them for everything they do, for sacrificing their lives every day, for sacrificing what little time they are supposed to have with their families because they are in the battlefield right now,” she said.

“I just want to let the frontliners know that we are here for them and we are trying our best to do our part. We are just praying so hard that this crisis will end finally,” Soberano added.
