MANILA, Philippines – Presidential sister Kris Aquino on Monday spoke out to defend her older brother, President Benigno Aquino III, from his critics in connection with the latest Pulse Asia survey.
Survey results showed the President’s net satisfaction rating dipping slightly from +64 net satisfaction rating in November 2010 to +51 net satisfaction in March 2011.
For Kris, however, she is fully satisfied with her brother’s performance. She added that she is proud of him.
As for his critics, Kris has this to say: "Alisin na ang inggit sa katawan."
The Queen of All Media was the keynote speaker at the launching of nationwide free skills test of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) in Taguig City on Monday.
The week-long event, dubbed the 1st National TVET Competency Assessment and Certification (NATCAC), offers free assessment and certification to skilled workers and overseas Filipino workers displaced by conflicts or disasters to help them find new employment in the country or abroad.
The participants are expected to undergo assessment and demonstrate their skills.
Aside from the free assessment and certification, the week-long event will also feature a jobs fair organized by TESDA, free training and skills demonstration, free dental and medical services, free training on enhancing "green" skills and free haircutting.
