Within two years after her "Pinoy Big Brother" win in 2016, Maymay Entrata has achieved several milestones in showbiz -- a lead role in a box-office hit, a supporting role in a top-rating fantaserye, a platinum-selling self-titled album, and most recently, a sold-out solo concert that's now spawned a tour.
And yet despite all these accomplishments, the 20-year-old appears to have stayed humble and no less her "fan girl" self as she was during her stay in the famous yellow house.
This showed in her Monday interview on "Tonight With Boy Abunda" to promote her upcoming concert series, "The Dream Tour," which kicks off on April 13 in Imus, Cavite.
Entrata, known for her boisterous and candid demeanor in "Pinoy Big Brother," has grown more poised since her showbiz entry, but if her interview with Boy Abunda is anything to go by, she hasn't lost her endearing, spirited reactions and animated way of talking.
While she's learned to keep private and filter details she shares, particularly when it comes to her relationship with onscreen partner Edward Barber, Entrata couldn't help but let out expressions that clued in her screaming fans in the studio.
She addressed Abunda as "sir" throughout the episode, as she did Enrique Gil, Zanjoe Marudo, and Sam Milby when they surprised her in "Pinoy Big Brother."
Despite her uncontrollable excitement at the time, she also made it a point to call Angel Locsin and Liza Soberano "ma'am."
Asked how she feels about her success-filled journey in showbiz so far, Entrata appeared genuinely in disbelief, and made sure to credit the people who have been instrumental to her reaching new heights.
