MANILA — Ice Seguerra, known for his heartfelt acoustic hits, performed Tuesday night via Facebook Live as part of the "Bayanihan, Musikahan" fundraiser.
The online concert series, which features dozens of musicians, aims to pool funds for the benefit of the urban poor, as well as frontline healthcare workers, amid the coronavirus crisis.
Seguerra was the last of four artists lined up on Tuesday, following Jim Paredes, Lara Maigue, and Gloc-9.
He performed several of his memorable tunes, including "Bilanggo", "Ano'ng Nangyari Sa Ating Dalawa", and his iconic comeback single, "Pagdating ng Panahon".
Seguerra carried out the online affair as his usual gig, speaking with his audience about love and heartaches in relation to the songs he would sing.
He also treated viewers to fresh renditions of "Anghel sa Lupa", "Pinakamamahal", "Ikaw Lang", "Para Lang Sa 'Yo", and "I See You Lord".
Aside from inviting his audience to take part in the fundraiser, Seguerra expressed gratitude to frontliners whose lives are at risk, and urged fellow Filipinos to be help prevent the spread of the coronavirus disease.
