For many, getting pregnant is a dream come true. But when Toni Gonzaga dreamed she was carrying her would-be second baby, she wanted to wake up.
"Huwag muna," the TV host, in an interview at the sidelines of the second taping day for the upcoming teen edition of "The Voice of the Philippines," pleaded when asked if she would want to have another baby following the birth of her first son Seve last year.
Sharing the dream she had, Gonzaga said: "Ginising ko talaga sarili ko. Nanaginip ako na buntis daw ako. Sabi ko, 'Anim na buwan pa lang si Seve, bakit buntis na naman ako?' Buti na lang panaginip lang."
Ideally, Gonzaga said she wants to get pregnant again in two or three years' time. "Anim na buwan na akong walang tulog, matutulog muna siguro ako . . . Talagang ire-recover ko muna," she explained.
Gonzaga described her experience as a new mom as the "most challenging and the hardest thing," but added that it is also the "most fulfilling and rewarding."
In the same interview, she also revealed having postpartum depression, but said she overcame it by simply talking with other people.
