When Kean Cipriano and his band Callalily released the music video for their song "Ex" back in July of last year, it had a more positive vibe to it.
The concept was simple: have exes, all of which seem to have separated in good terms, and talk with one another.
The song got an update this week, now featuring the vocals of Yeng Constantino.
A new music video for the new version also made its way online and it is miles more emotional, in a sense that it's about a couple on the verge of breaking up because of an affair.
The poignant ending elevates the forgiveness theme of the track up another level, perhaps looking to say that only a choice few sins are in the realm of unforgivable.
"It was a privilege to collaborate with Yeng on this new version," Cipriano wrote on Instagram. "Salamat! Nangyari rin."
