MANILA — Actor-dancer Wowie de Guzman surprised the live audience of “It’s Showtime” on Tuesday as he revealed his face in the noontime program’s matchmaking segment, “KapareWho.”
De Guzman, 42, was among the three masked men who took part in a series of challenges to help two seekers determine their date companion.
One of the seekers with the nickname “Posecat Doll” ultimately picked “Senuzumba Kita,” whose unveiling moment triggered shrieks in the studio.
De Guzman, a former member of Universal Motion Dancers, then obliged a request for a “sample” of his dance moves, with co-hosts Jhong Hilario and Vhong Navarro of the Streetboys joining him.
“KapareWho,” a compatibility game featuring single or widowed individuals aged 40 and above, has previously tapped the likes of Jeric Raval and Keempee de Leon as potential matches.
