MANILA -- Veteran actress and Batangas Governor Vilma Santos is ready to face the cameras again nearly two years after the release of her last movie, the award-winning independent film "Ekstra."
This time Santos will be joined by Kapamilya stars Xian Lim and Angel Locsin.
On Thursday, the three stars attended the story conference of the still-untitled movie which will be directed by Joyce Bernal.
"Finally. I guess pare-pareho kaming lahat excited. Para kami ngayong nag-uumpisa lahat. Definitely sa kaso ko it's my honor to be doing a film again, I'm so excited ang kasama ko pa si Gel (Locsin) at first time namin ni Bb. Joyce Bernal and first time with Xian Lim na gaganap bilang anak ko," Santos said.
According to Bernal, the story will revolve around a rich businesswoman (Santos), her son (Lim) and her personal assistant (Locsin).
For her part, Locsin admitted having mixed emotions about working with Santos, the mother of her boyfriend Luis Manzano .
So dumoble ang kaba ko," Loscin said.
Meanwhile, Lim feels honored to be working with Locsin and Santos, who are both award-winning actresses.
"More than the pressure I feel very blessed and excited. At si Direk Joyce din makakasama ko for the second time. 'Yung dynamics namin, 'yun ang excited ako. I wonder how it's gonna feel sa first day ng shooting namin," he said.
