MANILA, Philippines - Pop Star Princess Sarah Geronimo is looking forward to doing a film with Star for All Seasons and Batangas Governor Vilma Santos.
Reports that Geronimo and the Vilma might work together in a film surfaced while she was shooting a movie with Santos's son, Luis Manzano, and Judy Ann Santos.
In an interview, Geronimo said it would be an honor to work with Santos, but she clarified that no decision has been reached about such a project.
"Hindi ko po alam 'yon. Siyempre, kung matutuloy po 'yon, it would be an honor po na maka-trabaho ang isang Ms. Vilma Santos," Geronimo said.
She said that if the project pushes through, she will prepare for the big challenge of working with the veteran actress.
"Bilang baguhan na artista ay malaking challenge po 'yan na kailangan kong harapin at paghandaan," she said.
Geronimo recently said she also wants to do a film with the country's only Superstar Nora Aunor, who is set to do a comeback in showbiz.
In a separate interview, Governor Santos said she's also looking forward to working with Geronimo, whom she described as "cute" and "good actress."
"Looking forward din...I think she's a very good actress. So, given a chance, siguro gusto ko din siyang makasama," the governor said.
Aside from working on her movie "Hating-Kapatid," Geronimo is also part of ABS-CBN's weekly variety show "ASAP XV" while governor Santos is busy campaigning for re-election in Batangas.
