Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla are set to return to the big screen with a project that marks their reunion with box-office director Cathy Garcia-Molina.
The project was confirmed with a photo of the three, along with Star Cinema head Olivia Lamasan, taken during a meeting at the ABS-CBN film outfit's office in Quezon City.
Originally posted by Star Cinema writer and producer Carmi Raymundo, the group photo was shared by Padilla's mother, actress-host Karla Estrada, with the caption: "This is it! Thank you, Lord! Ang bago nating pakaaabangang pelikula ngayong taon!"
Bernardo and Padilla first mentioned a possible film under Molina in February, during the promotional leg for the finale of their fantaserye, "La Luna Sangre."
The pilot week of that top-rating series was directed by Molina, who is also behind several other "KathNiel" projects, notably the series "Got to Believe" and the movie "She's Dating the Gangster."
