MANILA -- "The gathering to celebrate with our loved ones will have to wait."

This was what Richard Gutierrez and Sarah Lahbati wrote, as they decided to push through with their wedding amid concerns about the coronavirus (COVID-19).

On Instagram Saturday night, the couple shared photos of their very intimate wedding, featuring only a small number of guests and their first kiss as a married couple.

"I have you and it's enough. It's everything," both of them said in their identical announcement.

The couple, engaged since 2017, earlier this week announced that they have decided to postpone their wedding, saying that they do not want to put their guests at risk of COVID-19.

As of Saturday, officials have confirmed 111 COVID-19 cases in the country and have announced a quarantine for Metro Manila.
