MANILA - Liezl Martinez's life was cut short on Saturday morning. The wife of Albert Martinez succumbed to stage 4 cancer.

She was 47.

Anna Lissa Martinez in real life battled the Big C for eight years. But Liezl did not face her battle alone. Her family was always there beside her until the end.

"Sobra akong blessed. Anytime I go, I don't have any complaints, because I became a mother, I have good kids, I have a good family. What more can I ask for?" Liezl said in an interview in 2012.

Liezl loved sharing photos of moments shared with her husband, and their children Alfonso, Alyssa and Alyanna, on her Instagram account.
